A Historical Sketch and Survey of St. Barnabas Hospital for Chronic Diseases
Abstract
This study is concerned with a particular institution serving a specific group or patients. An historical study of the institution cannot be presented because of limited sources. The focus or the study will be a presentation of the history and development of a chronic care institution in relation to the needs of the type of patient it is serving. The institution will be studied in relation to its historical development and administrative structure. A statistical analysis will present pertinent social data of the current patient group.
