Adoption: A Survey of the Practice of the Ten Adoption Agencies in the Borough of Manhattan, New York, for the Years 1960-1965
Abstract
This study grew out of an interest in the area of adoption, initially stimulated by one and one-half years of experience in the adoption department of a private agency in New York City. As a consequence of this first hand experience, many questions have been raised in my mind as to what progress has been made in the field of adoption since its increased public acceptance in the late 1940's.
