Group Work in the Elementary School: A Preliminary Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Group Work Program Offered by the Fordham Unit in PS 171 Q

Abstract

A group of five students from the class of 1967 at Fordham University School of Social Service have submitted a proposal for a two-year study to evaluate the effectiveness of group work intervention in a specific public elementary school setting. Their proposal includes a description of the setting in which the study is to be conducted; the study design; a definition of the independent variable, group work; and a description of the procedures and instruments to be used in gathering the data.
