Census Data and Its Use in Conducting a Community Study in East Orange, New Jersey, 1967-1968
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the various health and welfare needs of the community of East Orange, New Jersey by the use of census data. It is hoped that this paper will show how certain population indices, number of people over 65 or the median income of the community, etc., can be used to provide estimates of a community's health and welfare needs.
