THIRD ANNUAL CONFERENCE FOR POSITIVE MARKETING:
“MAKING A DIFFERENCE BY DELIVERING THE POSITIVE”
WITH ONE "BEST" PAPER TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF MARKETING

The Center for Positive Marketing at Fordham University invites submissions for the 3rd Annual Conference for Positive Marketing to be held at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus on April 3-4, 2014 in New York City. The conference invites scholars and practitioners who see marketing as an agent for positive influence in society and not simply a facilitator of the exchange of goods and services.

Scholars and practitioners from all disciplines are invited to submit papers that demonstrate the positive impact that marketing has on individuals, and on society at large. In line with the overall theme, “Making a Difference by Delivering the Positive,” submissions that focus on the relevance and application of Positive Marketing in the domain of distribution channels, especially those with an emphasis on the use of behavioral approaches to distribution channel design and management are especially encouraged.

All full papers submissions will be considered for the “Best Positive Marketing Paper” award. Full papers co-authored by a doctoral student will be eligible for the “Best Doctoral Paper” award. We strongly encourage papers from doctoral students. In addition, full papers submitted in the distribution channels domain will be considered for an additional award: the “Best Channels Paper award.” The award winning papers will be considered for publication in the European Journal of Marketing, conditional upon the completion of the review process as suggested by the journal editor.

We invite you to submit an extended abstract and to be part of the conference sessions. Submissions should focus on insights related to the theory and/or practice of positive marketing. Extended abstracts (1,000 words or less, not including references) are due by Friday, November 29th, 2013 with decisions to follow by January 10th, 2014.

To be considered for the “Best Positive Marketing Paper,” the “Best Doctoral Paper,” or the “Best Channels Paper” awards, full papers must be submitted by February 15th, 2014 (following the acceptance of extended abstracts).
