On the Fusion of Two Visual Perception Systems Utilizing Cognitive Diversity
Abstract
According to the Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, the term “decision making” means the process of deciding about something important, especially in a group of people or in an organization. Wikipedia defines “decision making-process” as the cognitive process resulting in the selection of a course of action among several alternative scenarios where, every decision-making process produces a final choice. While definitions may vary, it is clear that decision-making is a vital function for any individual as well as for groups of people. Throughout the years, decision-making has been a topic of multiple studies in many fields, such as economics, biology, neuroscience, computer science and social studies.
