The Relationship between Color-Form Perceptual Dominance and Certain Dimensions of Personality

Mary Rose McGeady, Fordham University

Abstract

Few areas in psychology have received more attention than those of perception and personality. The vital role played by each in the total adjustment of the individual has been recognized from the very early days of psychology. However, in comparison with the work done in the two areas separately, relatively little has been done to determine the relationship existing between the individual's perception of his environment and his total personality pattern.
