Abstract

Patras is a city of Greece. It is located at almost the northernmost point of Peloponnesus and its jetties, for it is a port, extend into the blue crystalline waters of a sizable gulf, the Gulf of Patras, which leads into the Mediterranean proper and the Adriatic Sea to the north.
