The Role of the Chaplain in the Rehabilitation of Offenders

Abstract

In order to ascertain the role which the Chaplain plays in the rehabilitation of offenders, a survey has been made of the existing conditions under which they are functioning. For this purpose a questionnaire was directed to the Chaplains of different faiths in various types of penal institutions throughout the United States.
