Puerto Rican Sectarianism and the Quest for Community
Abstract
The influx of Puerto Rican migrants into New York affords a unique opportunity to the sociologist to study the processes of assimilation and acculturation. This paper deals with one aspect of the Puerto Rican situation, namely the formation of the Spanish-speaking store-front churches.
