A Study of the Transferals of Children from the Parochial Elementary Schools of One City to the Public Elementary Schools of the Same City for Reasons Other Than Change of Residence
Abstract
This investigation was undertaken to discover the extent to which transferrals of pupils were made from the parochial elementary schools of one city in New Jersey to the public elementary schools of the same city, and the reasons, other than change of residence, for these trans- ferrals. It was the specific purpose of this study to obtain a composite picture of the type of child transferred.
