Case Studies in the Use of the Prelection of the Jesuit Ratio Studiorum
Abstract
Introduction. The Society of Jesus has been awaiting for a long time a new edition of the Ratio Studiorum, a code of rlues and regulations governing the conducts of Jesuit educational institutions. The most recent edition of the Ratio was published in 1832. SInce that time, the whole American school structure has changed; its philosophy, objectives, student and teacher personnel, curriculum, methodology, supervision and administration.
