A Survey of the Guidance Facilities Provided for the Crippled Child in New York City
Abstract
The social and economic importance of providing education for the crippled child becomes apparent when one realizes that there are over 300,000 such children in the United States, of whom only 15,000 are receiving special educational care. What is the future for those who fail to receive the necessary education and chare which is their heritage as members of a democracy? Are they not entitled to an opportunity do develop their abilities?
