A Concept of Freedom
Abstract
Thus the framers of the Declaration of Independence propounded a sound doctrine as an answer to the queries of the Liberalists and the ever impassioned rhetoric of the torch bearers of Freedom. The inalienable rights, ompha- sized in the Declaration, are not only truly fundamental but also correctly designated in their true order, namely, "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. For liberty is essentially a mean in the order of creation between a living person and his determined end.
