Cytoplasmic Secretioon in Vertebrate Gland Cells (With Special Reference to the Pancreatic Acinar Cell)
Abstract
In recent years considerable attention has been given to the study of the various constituents of gland cells, both in the living cell and in the fixed preparation, in an effort to determine the relation of these constituents to the origin and formation of the secretory substance produced as a result of the activity of these specialized cells.
