A Survey of the Aged Program of Catholic Charities in the Borough of Brooklyn, 1948
Abstract
In this study the author will present a survey of the Aged Program of Catholic Charities in the Borough of Brooklyn, during the year 1948, pointing out its facilities and unmet needs as seen through an analysis of the applications made to the workers for the aged during this time. It will include a brief history of the origin of the program, telling of how and why it was first started and why it was necessary to expand the service to its present status. A brief accounting of its present structure end administration will try to bring our the services rendered by this program and the function and responsibilities of the workers for the aged.
