Correlation Between Illinois Examination and Teacher's Judgment
Abstract
This study was undertaken to find out: 1. how much correlation exists between the Illinois Examination and the Teacher's Judgment; 2. the significance of this correlation; 3. the possible reasons for the correlation found. In order to solve this problem satisfactorily, it was necessary to gather the required data, to calculate the coefficients of correlation, and finally to interpret these coefficients of correlation in the light of the known conditions of this particular investigation.
