Case Studies of Eighty-Four Deviates From a Demerit System of Discipline
Abstract
The aim is to investigate the causes or eighty-tour deviates from the Demerit System of Junior High School 196, Brooklyn. The data which the author collected tor the thesis is the outgrowth or actual classroom experience, covering a period of a year from January 30, 1931 to February 5, 1932. The faculty of Junior High School 196, Brooklyn, inaugurated the Demerit System as an effective means of discipline.
