An Inquiry Into the Secondary Education of Girls in England and in the United States in the Nineteenth Century
Abstract
The purpose of this comparative study is to investigate the nature and extent of the secondary education of girls in the nineteenth century in England and in the United States. A critical evaluation of findings in both countries, will be made, accounting for similarities and differences.
