Father Champagnat, One of the Great Christian Educators of the Nineteenth Century
Abstract
The nineteenth century produced a number of men who greatly helped the cause of Christian Education. Due, in all probability, to the character of the work accomplished, these men have not received the recognition they so richly deserve. Such men as de Lamennais, Chaminade, Champagnat, and a host of others earned the gratitude of the educational world for the work that they accomplished which is still being carried on by their disciples.
