Priorities in Civil Rights: A Survey of the Aims and Methods of the Civil Rights' Leadership, with Special Attention to Open Housing (Some Legal and Legislation Considerations in the United States and Characteristics of Discriminated Complainants in New York City), 1968
Abstract
This study is concerned with the problem of open housing from a threefold perspective. First, by the administration of a questionnaire to selected organizations interested in Civil Rights, and fair housing in particular, we hope to ascertain the priorities that exist in the civil rights movement, postulating that the desire for equality in housing will be one of the top priorities. Further, we expect to see how the individuals and organizations queried feel that these priorities should be achieved. We also hope to see their opinion on what the result of increased Negrowhite contact would mean at a similar socio-economic level.
