Premature Infants: A Comparative Study of the Maternal Attitude of Protectiveness
Abstract
Current trends in the scientific study of personality development have emphasized both the genetic and the environmental points of view in their approach. These emphases have necessitated a refinement in our ability to differentiate between the environmental and the genetic influences. Because of a Neo-Freudian orientation, this study focuses on environmental factors, not on genetic.
