Abstract

The topic of foster care, its role and function, is causing new interest and concern to professional workers in the field of child care. It is an accepted fact that the greatest resource of any nation is its children. For they are the foundation and hope in an on-going developing society. It is essential, therefore, to provide the maximum opportunities for them to develop to the fullest extent of their potential.
