Abstract
The writer lived in Larchdale. Her children went to school there. As she experienced the community and its adolescent high school students, she began to notice certain things. The researcher was constantly aware of the bursting vitality of these adolescent youngsters as they struggled for self-identity and meaning for them in this world.
