Abstract

This study was undertaken in conjunction with The Methodist Hospital of Brooklyn which is a Church-related, acute, general, voluntary hospital affiliated with The State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, College of Medicine. It was founded in 1881 and is located on the original site in the Park Slope neighborhood in the borough of Brooklyn, City of New York. It has 452 beds and seventy bassinets and operate the four major clinical departments of Medicine, Surgery, ObstetricsGynecology and Pediatrics with their sub-specialties.
