Abstract

Research interest was evoked when we reflected on the disappointments and inadequacies that the Negro college graduate encounters upon his arrival in New York City.His problems are timely because of the current emphasis on the unskilled minority newcomers who comprise a large segment of the city's population, namely, Negroes and Puerto Ricans.
