Abstract

The Psychiatric Clinic of the Criminal Court was established in 1955 in the then Court of Special Sessions. When the courts of New York were reorganized in 1962, merging the Court of Special Sessions and Magistrates Court, the Clinic was reorganized to serve the newly established Criminal Court.
