Intake: A Study of the Relationship Between Selected Variables and Continuance Beyond the Initial Intake Visit of Twenty Five Self-Referrals and Twenty Five Agency Referrals at the Adult Mental Health Clinic, Kings County Hospital Brooklyn, New York, January, 1964 - January 1965
Abstract
During the writer’s field placement at the Adult Mental Health Clinic, Kings County Hospital, interest in the problem of the patients’ continuance at the clinic beyond the initial intake interview, was aroused. There were no immediate answers to the many questions asked about this problem, though there were suspicions as to what the answers might be, and which were not too difficult to confirm or refute.
