Foster Grandparent Program: Study of Ten Children Under the Care of the Foster Grandparents at the New York Foundling Hospital During 1967-1968
Abstract
This is a comparative study of children involved in the foster grandparent program. The selection of subject material was influenced by the writers’ experience while working at the New York Foundling Hospital where the foster grandparent program was in effect at the time of this study. Interest in this study was heightened by workers in the field of child care, and by workers involved in this specific project of the foster grandparents.
