After Care Supervision: A Study of Ten Children With Backgrounds of Delinquency Who Were Referred From Normal Child Care Institutions to the Catholic Guardian Society of New York, 1954 to 1960

Abstract

The author studied the case histories of then children, who were adjudicated delinquents before they were referred to the Catholic Guardian Society, and who were supervised by this agency between 1954 and 1960. In 1960 the cases of thirty-two previously adjudicated delinquents were closed by the Catholic Guardian Society. Ten cases were selected at random by the author to be used in this study.
