Abstract
This study will try to state what it is meant by rehabilitation, the elements of the process and their procedures, and, specifically, how it is practiced in the United States. will be used to facilitate this description. Examples In this dissertation the writer has tried to give a picture, somewhat oversimplified but as clear and adequate as possible, of rehabilitation in the United States: legislation, its major programs on the Federal, State and local level; the auxiliary professions and agencies, and local level; the auxiliary professions and agencies, and all that makes rehabilitation complete and valuable.
