Abstract

This study proposes to survey the principles and general community organization planning process as an approach to the problem of juvenile delinquency. It will demonstrate the methods and techniques utilized in the community organization process with reference to the development and formulation of planning for the control of juvenile delinquency. The intimate and unique problems of juvenile delinquency in the South Side area of Newark, New Jersey will be explored within the framework and perspective of planning objectives.
