Adolescent Adjustment to the Community: A Follow-Up Study of Four Boys Discharged to Parents or Guardians in New York, From the Hillcrest Center for Children, Bedford Hills, New York, 1960
Abstract
This study is an attempt to ascertain the need for an intensive aftercare program for adolescents who were discharged from the Hillcrest Center for Children to their parents or guardians, after varying periods of institutional placement. The study will use four cases chosen at random from the "discharged" files of the agency as illustrative material. Descriptive pseudonyms will be used to protect the identities of the boys to whom we refer.
