A Negro Youth Center: Saint Charles Borromeo Youth Project, Harlem, New York, 1950-1953
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the factors which made this project so necessary in this environment and area. In addition, the writer will show what the organization aimed to accomplish and the means which were put to use to attain the desired goals. Emphasis will be placed, also, on what was actually accomplished through the media of the program. The Youth Program as set up by a contract between the Catholic Youth Organization and the New York City Youth Board will be the main focus.
