The Principle of Self-Determination and Its Relation to the Thomistic Concept of the Will
Abstract
It is here proposed that a philosophical approach can provide the intensive, accurate delimitation by which the principle of self-determination can more profitably be applied in social casework by pointing out the realistic foundation for the principle. The goals of this writing are therefore two fold: establishment of a solid base and secondly a delimitation of the application of the principle of self-determination in social casework, rising from this base.
