A Study of the Interracial Group Work Program at Stanfield, Philadelphia, PA
Abstract
In studying the program of a settlement house, one must first of all consider its objectives; what the agency has set out to achieve, and how these goals are related to the needs of the community to be served. Since the writer's primary interest in this study is the interracial aspect of group work UNA's statement of its main purpose must be considered in this light: "To help the people help themselves to better living through group thinking, planning and action.
