Abstract

Many adolescents of both sexes are currently members of anti-social gangs and/or take part in socially unacceptable forms of behavior. This is a serious problem which faces many of the cities of our country, and no section of a city can state that it is secure from its infectious onslaught. are all affected by it in some way: We we may live in an area of high delinquency, and thus our personal possessions and persons are unsafe; we may reside in any area and its cancerous process of spreading may reach us or our children; a large part of our tax dollar is spent for protective, preventive, and rehabilitative services; and if we have any social awareness, we are concerned for the present and future welfare of those involved in this form of life.
