Abstract
The author intends that this project be a study of the Wyoming Valley Workshop, Limited, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and its sponsoring organization, Luzerne County Association for Retarded Children, from 1952 through June 1961. Valley Workshop opened for services May 19, 1958. The Wyoming The author did not treat of the problems of mental retardation except as they related to this agency. Other community agencies and their programs were not discussed except as they pertained to this study.
