Abstract
It is the purpose of this study to determine the trends and possible patterns regarding the reasons for referral and admission at night to the Children's Center. The increase in total admissions both day and night is of utmost concern in planning realistically for the displaced and needy child in any community. The overcrowded conditions at the Children's Center has achieved such constancy and proportions that exact and careful statistical evaluation of the reasons for such a problem is of the utmost urgency.
