A Descriptive Study of the Adoption Program in a Private Urban Sectarian Agency
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the present policy and procedure of adoption as currently practiced within the agency of Catholic Charities of Buffalo, New York and to compare the quality of activity in the light of widely accepted standards and practices. For the purpose of clarity adoption will be considered from three points of view, each of which is an integral part of the whole, that is adoption in relation to the natural parents, to the child, and to the adoptive parents.
