The Health Advisory Service: A Descriptive Study of a Function of the New York Tuberculosis and Health Association, 1920-1953

Abstract

The scope of this investigation covered introductory and historical information preliminary to the description of the specific service. This material included a brief presentation of the nature and background of the disease which precipitated the founding of the Health Advisory Service. Subsequent to this the author sketched some of the highlights in the founding of the parent organization within whose structure the Health Advisory Service operates.
