Abstract

Background of the Investigation. The importance of leadership training for volunteers has always been recognized by the Church and by society as a whole. We are not in a position to provide the professional help that is necessary for the carrying out of our youth program, consequently we have a duty and an obligation to train adult lay leaders in the philosophy and method of Catholic youth work so that they may actively assist the clergy in carrying out a youth program in their individual parishes.
