Abstract
Background and Timeliness of the Study. This study will deal with the Catholic Social Agencies in Manila, Philippines. The field of social wort, it is no In the Vast, in fairly recent is the Philippines, True, some agencies have been in existence for decades, but there was no awareness of the necessity of special training which is indispensable to helping people in need effectively. This awareness appears to have gained an impetus after World War Il, since it brought closer contact with the West. This was greatly added by the Improvement in traveling facilities and communication, which made the exchange of ideas and knowledge throughout the world easier and faster.
