Abstract

The art of writing shorthand is with us today because we need it. In the daily rush of business life, stenography plays its role of accomplishing speed in writing rapidly the words of the dictator. an art. It is a science. Stenography is not only an art. It is science.A keen interest in shorthand writing in England has been continuously evident in the history of shorthand to the present day. The two systems of today which lay claim to superiority are the culmination of the numerous attempts to perfect a means of rapid note taking.
