The Natural Virtues in the Education of Girls

Abstract

The history of education shows that there is a close connection between the ideals of a nation and the character of its education and again between the character of the education of a people or of an epoch and the accomplishments of that people or epoch, Chinese education, for example, was designed to perpetuate the traditions of respect for custom and precedent which kept China unchanged for twenty-five hundred years.
