The Psychology of Typewriting
Abstract
To be successful in any undertaking, it is necessary to concentrate the attention on that thing before it can be made part of the knowledge. This is true of typewriting. Interest, attention, and will are the three most important psychological forces. It is presumed one has the interest when she desires to learn typewriting. Then all other things must be sacrificed to attention. The strongest possible force you bring to your aid in learning to concentrate your attention, outside of interest, is the will. It is next to impossible for anyone to learn touch typewriting in its true sense, who has not the earnest desire to do so.
