Training the Intellectually Sub-Normal Child
Abstract
There are few teachers to-day who do not know of the normal curve of distribution, that human beings differ in any given trait, mental as well as physical, and that there are heaps of mediocre people with regard to any given trait.In the past twenty years, a great deal of in- formation has been gained about the way people dis- tribute mentally. Teachers know that 100 I. Q. is "par", and that any intelligence below 100 is "below par". They know that those far below are known as feeble-minded.
