Blind Children in Foster Homes A Survey of the Foster Home Facilities for Blind Children of New York City
Abstract
Blindness is as great an affliction today as it was in ancient times. Fortunately, society has modified its thinking and new methods of helping the blind have changed considerably. New means of communication, specialized schools, nursery care, and other special facilities have all aided in the growth, development and adjustment of the blind individual.
