Methods of Teaching Dramatics and Dramatic Literature in American Secondary Schools
Abstract
It is the purpose of this study to determine what are the current practices in the use of dramatics and dramatic literature in American Secondary Schools and to discuss the principles and the pedagogy underlying the correct use of the Dramatic impulse. The study is based upon careful search of published material in the form of articles and reports in professional journals and other periodicals and upon visits to schools and interviews with principals, and teachers.
