Abstract
Background of the Study. Living is a continuous struggle despite the many advances made in science, technology and the understanding of the individual personality. Man is constantly being challenged to change and move so that he can adapt to his environment, his needs and his wants. An organized system or social welfare services has developed to help people to attain satisfying ends. Specific needs have been met by the development of specialized services in; physical health, mental stability, economic security, spiritual growth, education, civic liberty, satisfying social relationships and personal satisfaction during leisure time. The primary aim of these services is to enable man to mobilize himself for the solving of problems to achieve the purpose of his life.
